My Most Worn Summer Outfits

Posted on: Friday 9 September 2016

I'm not gonna lie, I own A LOT of clothes, but despite that I seem to gravitate towards the same few outfits depending on the weather and I've done just that over the summer months. I'd like to think I'll be able to wear these outfits for a while longer yet please British weather, but I thought I'd do a little round up now because, let's face it, it is British weather.

This maybe isn't the most summery of outfits, but it's great for days that aren't as hot yet still cool enough to get away with if there's a sudden hot spell when you're out.

Hello to my tripod in this photo #rookieerror. I've been absolutely loving this skirt this summer even though it's an old one. I love the print and the button down style even though I always have to wear it with a longish top as the top button likes to gape open a little bit because, well, hello hips.

This top has been such a staple since I bought it halfway through summer (as you may have noticed with it appearing in three different outfit posts. It's nice on its own on a hot day or layered under something else on a not so hot day.

These trousers have been a staple throughout summer, which I knew they would and I'm sure they will be for many summers to come. They're just so light and comfortable, go with a lot and also hide a food baby pretty well.

I've loved the off the shoulder trend all summer, but I only actually have two off the shoulder tops, which means this one has had its fair share of wear (great phrase there).

What have been your most worn summer outfits? Which is your favourite of these?

  1. Loved going through these summer favourites once again, it's so hard to pick out just one favourite because you look wonderful in all of these combinations! I love love love the first outfit, you look so cool and relaxed in the third one (those sunnies really are a show stopper and the top is awesome) and I really like the off the shoulder blouse (the print is beautiful)! Have a great weekend! xx

    1. Aw thank you! I think number 3 is my favourite because I look so relaxed and I usually look a bit awkward in blog photos haha and because of the sunglasses obviously! xx

  2. I love all of these outfits but if I had to decide I would pick number 4 - these trousers are simply beautiful and I wish I could pull these off too. I also like the off-shoulder trend and I hope it will make a reappearance next summer xx

  4. I love your fashion posts Amy. Your outfits looks like things I could actually wear on a daily basis, and your photos are so natural - none of this maniacal laughing in in every shot. In short, I'm a fan.

  8. Cute outfits! I'm the same way with clothes haha. When I shop I'm drawn to more interesting and fancy things but during my day to day life I'm more prone to wearing jeans and sneakers.
