Hairstyles with Irresistible Me

I received a comment in my year 11 yearbook (by yearbook I mean notebooks we all bought ourselves in the hopes everyone would write nice things about us in them - lol) from a friend telling me that whenever she thought of me she thought of headbands and that used to be very apt. I was obsessed with wearing headbands from when I was very little up until I left school and I started making less and less effort with my hair (I mean don't worry, I still washed it). Although in the past year or so I have started trying to make an effort with my hair again, I haven't reintroduced accessories yet so when Irresistible Me got in touch offering me a choice of three of their hair accessories I knew I'd pick headbands.

They are really beautiful and perfect for reigniting my love of headbands so I thought I'd show you how I'll be styling each one:

Half up half down with the Grace Headband* | Because this headband is quite girly I wanted to make it a part of the hairstyle rather than an accessory because, well, it made the five year old girl in me feel a bit princessy OK? So I popped it on and took strands of hair from the front, pulled them round to the back and tied them up with a clear elastic.

Blake Headband* and a fishtail plait | A fishtail plait to the side is one of my most worn hairstyles, but the only thing I don't like about them is that one side of my head ends up looking pretty bare. So when I saw the Blake Headband I knew the detail on the opposite side would work perfectly with a fishtail plait. It just makes the hairstyle that little bit more interesting and because it's black it goes with any outfit.

Waves with the Ruby Headband* | This is my favourite out of the three headbands so for this one I kind of wanted to let the headband do the talking. All I did was wear my hair down after sleeping with it in a plait and popped the headband on. Simple but a hairstyle I imagine could quickly become one of my most worn!
