The T-Shirt Dress

The t-shirt dress isn't a style I've really gone for in the past because I haven't found them to be particularly flattering on me, but I spotted this Misguided one on Asos and I guess the stripes got me so I ordered it and hey, I actually like it. I mean yes, I definitely didn't need anything else striped and the day will come when I open my wardrobe and I'm faced with just a row of slightly different striped things to choose from, but would that be such a bad thing really?


It's such an easy thing to just throw on and fool people into thinking you've made an effort, when really all you've done is put on a long t-shirt. The stripes make it feel really summery and it'll definitely be a staple for me in the coming months. It's actually nice that it's got long sleeves because let's face it, it's not often it's boiling hot in England even when it's sunny.

The espadrilles are another Asos find and they are possibly the comfiest footwear I've ever worn. I'm also really chuffed because they remind me so much of the Chanel espadrilles, but these were only £12! I think they match the dress perfectly too, but to be honest they go with most things! Apologies for my comedy hair in this post - it was SO windy - I've put the last photo in to show just how windy it was!
