Pyjama Trouser Style

Comfort is a big thing for me when it comes to my style - I used to compromise on comfort in the name of fashion sometimes, but those days are long gone - I guess I got old (sob). So when culottes and comfortable trousers in general came into fashion I was mega happy that I could actually get away with wearing essentially what could be pyjama bottoms all day long and actually be classed as trendy (although LOL while walking down the street in these I actually heard a girl laugh at me and tell her friend I looked like I was wearing pyjamas - #hulllife).

I couldn't resist these culottes from Topshop (they also do them in a silvery grey colour that I'm tempted by because SO COMFY). They're not the most flattering trousers ever, but I seem to be making a habit of that these days and I just love them. I've been pairing them with either white or black because I don't often wear monochrome and the trousers are loud enough to not need any colour!

The day I wore these was lovely and hot so I wore an old Primark blouse with capped sleeves and no cardigan/jacket (yay British weather did came good). I also wore my new favourite shoes, which are these beautiful trainers from Tu - they're so comfortable (phrase of my life) and I love the lace detailing, which is so perfect for summer.
