OK yes, slightly over the top title for this post, but I wanted to try to convey just how much love I have for this bag (and the rest of this outfit, but the bag is the main event).
I spotted this Fiorelli bag when I was on holiday a few weeks ago and loved it, but it was quite expensive for me so I loved and left it and cried myself to sleep (definitely no over exaggeration in this post whatsoever...) Little did I know Nick had actually ordered the bag for me and it arrived the day after we got back from holiday - he's a good egg really isn't he?
I don't think I've ever had a bag as nice as this before - I mean it's real leather and everything! I love the small backpack style, which means it's super comfortable but still looks good. It's also deceptively big and has so many separate pockets meaning my stuff doesn't get jumbled up too much and I can actually find stuff in my bag, which is pretty revolutionary for me.
For this outfit I've kept it pretty simple and classic - a white shirt because what better way to show off a black bag than put it against something white? I love this shirt because it's quite thick so it's nice and warm for this time of year (it's actually from the Tu men's section but shh). These H&M black trousers were a huge staple of mine a couple of years ago and I've rediscovered them. It's nice to wear black trousers instead of jeans sometimes and these ones are the ankle grazer style that I like (even if I did have to get my mum to take them up a bit #shortlegproblems). I wore my Truffle Collection boots to try to balance out the androgyny of the rest of the outfit.
And that's pretty much all I have to say about this outfit apart from can I just reinforce how beautiful my new bag is? Not to brag or anything...
Oh and thank you Nick, you're alright.
