All About The Body

So I legit couldn't think of a title for this post that didn't sound like it was either going to be a body positivity post or something sexual. Soz, it's neither. It's actually just a simple post about how much I've been loving bodies of the clothing variety. So yeah, here's three of my favourites:

Top - Next (hereTrousers - Asos (old) | Shoes - Asos (old)

Grey | This is the newest addition to my body wardrobe and is one that would usually be unflattering on me because it's tight fitting and high necked, but it just seems to work. I adore wearing grey at the moment which just signifies how boring I am (haha) and I've just found it a great colour to style at this time of year.

Body - New Look (old) | Jeans - Topshop (here) | Boots - Topshop (old)

Wrap | This is such a staple top for me because it's plain, the wrap cut makes it really flattering and it goes so well tucked into things because it's a body. This is also another one that has featured on my blog more than once because it's such a babe.

Striped | This one has featured many times on this blog already because it was such a summer staple. It's great for layering under things or wearing tucked into high waisted jeans as I am here. It was great in summer because it has an interesting almost swimming costume look to it, but it looks nice and casual in autumn with a cardigan over the top too. It's another one that would usually look unflattering on me but somehow it seems to work.

Are you a fan of the body?

  7. I don't know why but for some reason I have never bought a body. But!! I have been thinking of getting a few because girl, how beaut & comfy they are <3 I am constantly having a situation when I was to tuck the top in & it always needs re-tucked like every 2 minutes. Where is the striped one from, gorgeous? I must get a few asap! :)

    1. I had never bought one until recently but they're so handy for that exact reason - no constant re-tucking! The striped one is from Urban Outfitters - I think it's still in the sale for £5 :) xx

  9. I'm totally with you on appreciating bodies (not as creeping as it sounds, haha) - they're so versatile and also perfect for wearing underneath dresses for that seamless-finish :)

  11. I do have two or three and wore one just once and the others I never wore, so I don't know why I haaaad to buy them - it's something that just happens, we like something and buy. But now that I have seen how nice they look, I may wear them! I loved your grey body and the white one too - that is my favorite! The striped one is also sweet! And you look beautiful in every picture!
