The Perfect Embroidered Jeans

I've had a watchful eye on the embroidered denim trend throughout summer and been pining after a pair of embroidered jeans for a while, but couldn't find a pair that were understated enough for my style and that were within my budget. In the end I've actually spent a bit more than I wanted (seriously I went into Topshop and I swear everything has suddenly got horribly expensive in there) but I found my perfect pair. I don't actually own any jeans from anywhere other than Topshop so I really should have thought to look there earlier.

The embroidery is all blue so blends in with the jeans more than anything really bright, which is perfect for me, plus the jeans themselves are such a lovely laid back length and fit. I don't actually own any jeans as light blue as this so I thought they were quite a good investment and I'm sure I'll get my money's worth.

Because they're quite understated they go with quite a lot too, but I kept it quite simple here with a plain white shirt because what beats jeans and a white shirt? My shoes are mega old from Primark and are probably the best investment I've ever made - I think they were about £8 and they've lasted three years so far.

What do you think of the embroidered denim trend?

  10. Well done, 8 pounds for the shoes and they are looovely, I really loved them! So good they last so long! I love embroidered jeans even when they were not a trend, so I am very pleased that they are now and that so many shops are offering them. But it's difficult to find jeans, I admit! I am glad that you found these lovely jeans at Topshop. And I second your words, the shop has gone expensive! You look very beautiful, I loved your outfit! Hope you have a lovely weekend!!!

  12. You've found the most perfect pair of embroidered jeans I've seen so far and they're so you, I love it! I also have trouble with finding a great pair of jeans for a reasonable price, sometimes it feels like a mission impossible or maybe I am just too picky? :)
Great combination, I love how you've decided to keep it simple, nothing beats a great white shirt, it's such a classic! Hope you've had a great weekend! xx
