So it's not the end of summer yet (fingers crossed), but I've had some firm favourites so far this season that I wanted to share. These are a mixture of fashion and beauty and also a mixture of old rediscoveries and new finds.
Asos Marble Framed Sunglasses | If you read my blog already you will definitely have seen these - I've worn them in a few outfit posts (here and here) and they also featured in my summer accessories post (here). As soon as I saw them I fell in love with them (yes it is possible to fall in love with sunglasses) and they're just that bit more fun than all the other sunglasses I own. Plus, they're marble so need I say more really?
Primark False Nails | Never did I ever think I would wear false nails. I'm more about a natural look than a fake one so wearing false nails (along with false eyelashes, hair extensions etc) is just not something that has crossed my mind before. But Primark do such cheap ones and I picked some up just to try. As well as these ones I got some with watermelons on them and they're great for nice looking patterns that my nail art skills can't quite match.
Soap and Glory Super Nude Sexy Motherpucker Lipstick | This was my favourite lipstick for a long time, I even wrote a little post about it way back in early 2015 (here if you want a lol), but I lost it for ages and thought it had gone forever when I couldn't find it anywhere. I could of course have bought a new one, but they're not exactly cheap so I didn't and then Nick found it down the side of a sofa cushion and it's not leaving my side ever again.
Lush R&B Hair Conditioner | So I'm pretty sure this is meant for people with curly hair i.e. not me, but it's great for taming frizz and keeping my hair looking smoother than it is naturally. Plus it smells incredible and it lasts ages (I used to live off the tiny tester pots before I thought the shop assistants might get suspicious if I asked for any more and they lasted weeks).
New Look Neck Tie | I need to get me some more of these because I love the look of a neck tie and how you can wear the most basic outfit and it just pulls it all together. I nearly bought red, but I'm really glad I went for this minty green because I haven't seen many other people with one this colour and it goes with so much.
Have you tried any of these? Let me know if you have any more questions about any of them as I fear I may have just rambled rather than give any sort of useful information!
