Girl Power

I feel like my style is getting more and more pyjama like with each post I write and I think today's is about as far as I can push it without actually wearing my pyjamas outside...

This is basically how I dress on a weekend unless I'm doing something nice (and let's face it, my weekends are usually full of DIY, housework and supermarket trips). I just like being comfortable on a weekend and this ensemble (yep my outfit is comparable to an orchestra) is about as comfy as it gets.

The t-shirt isn't my usual style, but in a moment of Spice Girls nostalgia I ordered it. Nick even calls me 'Amy Spice' when I wear it which basically makes my life. It's also really soft and was only £8 so it would have been rude not to...

The trousers are really old from New Look and I love the print as well as the fact that they go with everything all the while feeling like I haven't even changed out of my pyjama bottoms. I usually wear trainers or some other comfortable shoes on a weekend and although you can't really see these ones particularly well in the pictures they're the same ones from Tu that were in my last outfit post (here).

Top - Boohoo via Asos (here)
Trousers - New Look (old)
Trainers - Tu (here)
Bag - Primark (old)

How do you dress on a weekend? What do you think of this outfit?

  5. Such a comfy looking outfit...couldn't be more perfect for a chilled weekend. I LIVE in black jeans...I genuinely think I have them on about 99% of the time. I have 4 pairs. They just get rotated. It works for me! Ha ha

  7. You're my style twin! This is pretty much what I get changed into when I get home from work! I even have very similar trousers :) Everyone thinks I'm wearing pyjamas but the trousers are actually daywear from F21! x

  12. I really like this outfit, the shirt is amazing and I love how you combined it with the trousers! I also love wearing comfy clothes on the weekend and if I'm totally honest, I kinda prefer grocery shopping to a night out clubbing haha, that probably makes me really lame. xx

  13. I love your writing style. I don't think it's that pyjamaish, more casual chic? Kinda? And wow, an $8 top? It would definitely have been rude for you to not have got it. It works, and the orchestra metaphor (maybe not metaphor, word style? theme? idk) is accurate.
