Quick Minimal Makeup Routine

So at the beginning of January I spoke about how I am going bare faced more often (here) and because of my new found bare faced confidence paired with a lack of time at the moment I've been doing a quick and easy minimal makeup routine more often than not. This is what I've been wearing on my face recently:

I start by priming with Benefit The Porefessional and follow that up with Glow Job by Soap & Glory using my hands for both because it's quick and easy. Next I attempt to cover my under eye bags with the  Barry M Flawless Light Reflecting Concealer and cover any blemishes with the Rimmel Hide the Blemish Concealer, again all with my hands for quickness! For a bit of colour to my face I use the Bourjois Little Round Pot Blush in Rose D'or and follow that up with a sweep of Watt's Up! by Benefit on my cheekbones. I quickly brush through my eyebrows and fill them in a bit with Rimmel's Brow This Way kit and then move on to eyes, using one of the Maybelline Colour Tattoos (on this occasion it was pomegranate) which I sweep over my eyelid with my finger and then blend out slightly before finishing off the look with Lash Sensational Mascara by Maybelline.  I keep lips bare apart from a bit of lip balm. This look takes under five minutes and is so easy to do!

Do you like minimal make up or are you a fan of bolder looks?

  2. You have such clear skin you definitely don't need to wear much make up and I also feel better when I wear less. I tried a sample of watts up but haven't got the full sized yet but it's gorgeous xxx

    1. Ah thanks lovely, I thought while I have clear skin I might as well wear less makeup cause I'm sure it won't last! Watts up is so lovely! Xx

  3. I wish I could feel confident enough to go with minimal makeup! I usually only wear concealer and powder if I'm not going anywhere but the rest of the time I go for the full works. You have lovely skin though, this look suits you :)

  4. I've heard so many great things about the Maybelline mascara, I really need to give it a try! I am such a full coverage person but I should definitely learn that sometimes less is more! Kudos to you for the confidence :) xx

  8. This is very similar to my every day look. I tend to just add some darker lipstick when I'm going out ha.
